Open Pulpit Application

Submit your sermons for consideration.

Open Pulpit is an app that curates good preaching, because good theology saves lives. Are you interested in having your church's sermons considered for inclusion in the Open Pulpit catalog?

We consider preachers and their congregations as a whole: this preacher, at this church. This form is best filled out by the preacher. If we move forward, we'll formalize the agreement with a contract signed by you, a representative of your congregation, and Open Pulpit; that's the point where your church formally signs on.

This form is short. If you, or someone at your church, would like to know what this will look like if your application is accepted, we've written up the whole process here. You don't need to read it to apply.

How did you hear about us?

At Open Pulpit, we say that good preaching is biblical (not ideological), contextual (not generic), theological (not didactic), and humble (not triumphalistic). Do you share these values in your preaching? *

Where can we find your sermons? (Please include a link.) *

In addition to our randomly selected sample from your sermon catalog, we invite you to submit up to five of the sermons you believe most exemplify our preaching values. All optional.

At Open Pulpit, we evaluate sermons under consideration using an AI-assisted process with significant human review.

I understand and give my consent for Open Pulpit to find the recordings at the link provided, download any number of sermons as audio files, transcribe the files, and evaluate them using an AI-assisted process. Evaluations are confidential and not shared outside of Open Pulpit's evaluators. Evaluations, with significant human review, will be used to determine eligibility for inclusion in Open Pulpit's app.

Open Pulpit is free to listeners and carries no advertising, and applying costs you nothing. Open Pulpit intends to pay a modest honorarium to your congregation in recognition of the catalog it contributes — but that depends on funding Open Pulpit does not yet have. There are no honorarium funds available today.
